This is part two of the adventures in Advaita Vedanta... will you travel with me a while?

YAM

Yamini Ali MacLean (aka YAM) was born in Scotland, is a naturalised Australian (emigrated in 1989) and is Hindu by way of spiritual expression. There were many steps along that particular adventure! Finding Advaita Vedanta proved to be - in every sense - enlightening. She is The Roaming Soul which gives title to this and the pre-existing 'chapter'.

YAM has certificates, advanced diplomas and degrees aplenty. Computing, finance, medicine (specialising in homoeopathy), a few other odds and ends... and latterly at the gurukula of Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, she underwent and passed from the PhD equivalent course of study provided by the Chinmaya Mission. It's possible her life mission is to be forever a student - but experience has been gained from years of putting theory into practice also!!!

Life turned full circle, as it is prone to do, and she is again resident in Scotland. From here she blogs, creates and continues her personal saadhana of self-examination through the lens of Vedanta.  This 'chapter two' blog will represent expressions of application of the philosophy as well as exploring the challenges and missteps along the way.
